We have had to deal with a lot of discriminatory behavior here at CCCF. Ladies are singled out for their sexual preference and previous career choices more often than we would like to say. Ladies are punished repeatedly for no reason or for what things some other ladies are not punished for at all. Ladies who are discriminated against here are also not given jobs and not allowed to level up. Their personal property is often taken away even though they paid for it themselves. They are also denied further education and are generally harassed constantly. Some of them have even been sent to the segregation unit. We want fair treatment for all regardless of their race sex and sexual preference.

04-12-23

A lady here at CCCF is being discriminated against and punished for practicing her 5th Amendment Right here. The facility has repeatedly sent her to the segregation unit for this.

They have refused to hire her for any jobs other than the lowest paying kitchen jobs a $30 per month. She has proof that her conviction was unlawful. She also has parents with terminal illnesses that the facility has blocked her from talking to on the phones. This is her 1st Amendment Right.

CCCF will often refuse people their mail for violations that they did not commit. They continue to open legal mail for people while they are not present. This is a Federal Offense and we want CCCF to stop this!

CCCF has refused people further education. One lady who already has a college education was blocked from taking any more classes. She thinks it is discrimination. Equal treatment needs to be given to everyone at CCCF.

If you or your loved ones have had your rights violated or been discriminated against at CCCF or other Oregon prisons please write to Adrian Wulff, 900 Court Street, Ste 254, Salem, OR 97301. Please mention this website. Together we are stronger and we can stop these injustices.

We have ladies here who have been discriminated against for their sexual preference. They have been fired from jobs and punished unnecessarily. They have also been denied opportunities that other get. This unfair treatment needs to stop.

The lady at CCCF that has been falsely convicted had newspaper articles both in Seattle and in Oregon slandering her. Authorities have been proven to have lied at her trial, with slander. This is the same lady who has no criminal history and ran her own company for close to 20 years until she found out her parents had terminal illnesses. She closed the company to help her parents and then shortly after was pulled over and arrested with no probable cause. Authorities in Snohomish County, Washington took her vehicle without a warrant and the judge allowed it to be presented at trial. He also allowed the jury to be prejudiced by the prosecutor at her trial. He brought up things from her very distant past that were not relevant to her trial in order to cause the jury to become prejudiced against her. Her public defense team knew the whole time that there was no probable cause to arrest her and still allowed her to be convicted and sentenced to 25 years to life in prison. She was even threatened by the forensic psychologist on her defense team.

While at Washington County Jail awaiting trial she was treated with excessive force and did not eat for over 2 months before her trial. Her lawyers did nothing to help her or her parents. Her grandmother passed away while she was there and her stepmother had gone to the hospital several time for congestive heart failure. Her father was left alone with Alzheimers and dementia.

In our legislatures we have people that favor punishment over rehabilitation in order to “populate the work pool.” This is modern slavery. We are literally forced to work for wages significantly lower than minimum wage here at CCCF and at other prisons around the country. For monetary gain! Those who favor punishment in the legislatures and inside prisons are quite literally profiting from our enslavement here. Wrongful arrests, wrongful convictions and drug addicts are given prison time instead of treatment and they are all victims of a very corrupt system. We want it to stop.

One lady here at CCCF was given 25 years to life who had no criminal history, when they had no probable cause to pull her over and arrest her. Everyone in the system has benefited from her virtual kidnapping and she has been forced to work the whole time she has been at CCCF. From the judge who falsely convicted her, the lawyers who did not properly represent her, right down to the officers who have been holding her against her will, while her parents on the outside have terminal illnesses without her. On top of that the Department of Corrections has put into play a mandatory phone registration system online that has made so she cannot even talk to them to make sure how they are doing.

Where are we? Are we in America or is this a Third World Country? This is certainly not the Land of the Free anymore! America should be ashamed of themselves for all of this.

04-01-23

Not only has CCCF tried to block us from talking to our loved ones by requiring them to register their phone numbers online, but when we do get the opportunity to talk on the phone it is either so filled with static that we cannot hear or the call gets dropped. This is a violation of our first amendment rights and we want justice.

The officers here in the mail room have really gotten out of hand. We get mail violations and they send letters back when we have not even broken any rules. They are committing a federal offense against us and we want justice.

We want to mention the Stanford Experiment once again. Please Google it and you will see how easy it is for people in power to abuse their power. Something needs to be done about abuse of power and we want those doing the abusing to be held accountable.

03-23-23

The segregation unit here at CCCF is still a big problem. We are sure it is at other facilities also. We have a lady here in her early 20s who has been here for years in segregation. Our heart goes out to her. She is not allowed anything in her cell and when she comes out for showers she is handcuffed, leg shackled and a leashed like a dog. Once she was getting in the shower and all of a sudden several officers tackled her. This is almost like several reported events in Virginia where officers tackled a man in a facility and killed him. In case here they claimed that she tried to head-but an officer. But none of the other officers said they saw her do that.

The segregation unit here is just a place where officers practice abuse of power and abuse prisoners. According to the Geneva Convention, solitary confinement with no stimuli is considered to be torture. If officers do not feel like bringing prisoners books, then they do not get any books. The same goes for cleaning supplies, meals and showers.

In the segregation unit here, if officers do not like a lady for some reason they conveniently “forget” about getting them anything. Once they decided not to allow one lady a shower she heard them saying they hoped the other ladies would beat her up for smelling bad. They will conveniently “forget” to give that lady meals as well. Also, officers have been known to give some ladies extra food if she has beaten up another lady who they do not like.

President Biden vowed to do away with segregation in prisons and we want it done away with too. Please write to the President at 600 Pennsylvania Av, Washington, DC. Please write also to

You may think that segregation is for “trouble makers” and for people who do not follow the rules here, but that is not necessarily the case. If officers do not like a lady (and sometimes this is just because of race or color) they will try to throw that lady into segregation for almost anything. For example, ladies can be sent there for sharing food at meals. Most officers here practice favoritism and will send one lady to segregation for something small, and let another do the same thing with doing anything to her.

Consistency is a big part of ladies’ mental health while at CCCF and similar facilities. But each officer runs a given unit completely differently, so it can be very confusing to adjust to varying rules all the time. We are just trying to live our lives here as best we can. But when different officers come on a unit with different rules it interferes with our efforts to live our lives and also to try to fight the charges that brought us here.

We have many ladies here with wrongful convictions that are doing their best to research and navigate the legal system that brought us here. It is hard enough to do that, without having to deal with officers yelling at us and not being consistent about rules. All we want is a fair chance to live our lives here and to try to find ways to eventually be set free.

It has been proven that the lawyers who are supposed to help us do not really fight for us. They are lazy and even leave out important evidence from our case histories that may have led to wrongful convictions. Between that and corrections officers here seeming to always have it out for us, there seems to be no fairness or mercy!

03-19-23

One lady at CCCF remembers doing drugs with a correction officer on the outside before she came here. The officer was going to try to get her a job too. And then she was arrested. Correction officers only need good education to get jobs here. Training to become a corrections officer takes approximately 16 weeks. We think there should be more training to deal with things in prisons like mental illness, violence de-escalation and drug addiction. Nobody likes being told what to do by ignorant, uneducated individuals.

From the time we were children we are taught to share with our friends. At CCCF we are punished and sent to segregation for this. Is this punishment or torture.? In segregation the officers took one lady in for questioning while she was in segregation and left her chained to a wall for 2 hours because she would not talk to them. When she was put back into segregation none of the other ladies would talk to her because they said she was talking to the cops for two hours. They also move people from cell to cell, sometimes 3 or 4 times a day and laugh at them as they try to gather their belongings. At this point though, most of their belongings have previously already been taken away from them. Some of their belongings will never be returned to them, including things like TVs, headphones, makeup and radios.

They move people around a lot when they are not in segregation too. This takes a lot of effort, sometimes hours, for people to get their things packed for moves.. If they know that 2 people are friends, they will separate them into different units.

In segregation the officers will refuse people showers and then openly talking about hoping other prisoners will beat them up for smelling bad. When those ladies do beat them up for the amusement of the officers they will give them extra food at mealtimes. Others they don’t like will be forgotten about for meals, things to clean their cells with, and library books. We think that favoritism from ignorant uneducated correction officers is not something we should have to deal with. Is this place run by the Department of Corrections or is this just a place of abuse.

03-16-23

Seven more police officers are going to trial for murder in Virginia It is not as big a news story as they Tyree Nichols situation though. Probably because they do not want any more protests or riots. We want police to stop unnecessary violence., both on the streets and in our prisons.

One lady here at CCCF is applying for a compassionate release because her husband has a terminal illness. Another lady here has both parents with terminal illnesses and she is the only one they have that could take care of them. Yet, she is not permitted to apply for a compassionate release. Where is the fairness in this? Our loved ones suffer right along with us here and everyone should have an equal chance at compassionate release.

03-14-23

We have a lady at CCCF who was charged with unlawful use of a weapon because they found a knife with no fingerprints. The only statement her “victim” made was “I thought she loved me”. They charged her because she had previous domestic violence situations.

Another lady here was charged with unlawful use of a firearm, but she never used it. It was found on her person and so she was charged.

Another lady here was charged with unlawful use of a firearm, but she never had a firearm, and they never produced it at trial. She is trying to find comparable cases for her direct appeal, but has not found any yet in the State of Oregon. She is at a loss about what to do about this.

We have lots of ladies at CCCF who were forced or bullied into taking plea deals for crimes they did not commit. They can’t afford the cost of post-conviction appeal, but we do not want to give them up. It is wrong to charge people for crimes they did not commit.

We have heard that Paris Hilton is speaking out against abuse in prison facilities and that some may be shut down. We think prisons that are abusing people should be shut down.

03-08-23

We have a lady here at CCCF who paid a lawyer $10,000 to do her post-conviction brief. After she gave him the money he said he lost her paperwork twice and did not even remember whether or not he filed for her. We are tired of not getting proper representation that is our constitutional right, whether we are in prison or not.

03-07-23

We still have ladies here at CCCF who are suffering from the H Pylori stomach bacteria, and they have not given anyone antibiotics to take care of it. Some ladies are afraid to eat the food they serve from the kitchen. There is an officer standing at the food line today, threatening to take people’s food away, on top of everything else! We deserve to be served food that is safe to eat and not be harassed at meal time!

Here at CCCF we get threatened in the law library when we are trying to make copies of our cases. One lady was told they could not make copies for her appeal because they did not have toner cartridges.

We have also been told that they cannot give us antibiotics for the infection because it is too expensive. They do give some ladies antacid but it does not seem to work. We have gotten this infection from eating the food here and we need treatment. We also need to be served food that is safe to eat.

03-05-23

Many ladies at CCCF are still being forced to work in the kitchen, even after they passed Bill 112, which is supposed to do away with slave labor. They did give people a very small raise, but they also significantly raised canteen prices. Ladies who refuse to go to work there are sent to the Segregation Unit. It is still very unsanitary in the kitchen, and ladies are getting the H Pylori virus from eating the food here. This causes really painful heartburn, and some ladies even get nauseous from it. They are not doing much to help them here.

03-03-23

We are now seeing, after the Alex Murdoch trial, that lawyers are not always the people we should be giving the benefit of the doubt to. Throughout the course of his career he convicted several people, resulting in death penalty verdicts. Here at CCCF we have a lady who went bankrupt paying for a lawyer who had an excellent reputation. He was no match for the State though. They actually broke into her lawyer’s office to steal her records. There were also so many instances of the authorities lying that she did not stand a chance at trial.

Another lady here actually had her lawyer try to bully her into a confession of a crime she did not commit. The same lawyer tried to coerce her out of her vehicle when the authorities took it from her without a warrant. Several of this ladies friends would only talk to her lawyer and not to her. This same lawyer told her not to talk to anyone at the jail. As it turned out this was the worst advice ever, as isolation in prison and jail is a very big problem, especially to someone who has not even committed the crime she was accused of.

We need the general public to see that just because lawyers make a lot of money does not mean we should always trust them or that they are always right. We also has a lady here whose criminal psychologist threatened alongside her lawyer as her lawyer was trying to bully her into a confession of a crime she did not commit. These people are supposed to be professionals! We are seeing that the people who work in the justice system are often really part of the problem

2-18-23

If ladies at CCCF try to stand up for their rights they are given psychological evaluations. There are also many ladies that need counseling who are not given help and left to fend for themselves.

We continue to have people who are innocent of the crime they are accused of who are bullied into taking plea deals both here at CCCF and at other prisons in Oregon. It is cheaper to imprison people who take plea deals, so the prosecutors are under pressure to get convictions whether or not the person is guilty. This leads to a lot of lying, cheating and stealing by the prosecutors. Many ladies here have to deal with this problem during their appeals. But when they raise issues about ineffective counsel or Brady violation they are told it was not part of the defense strategy or did not affect the jury’s decision. When these issues are brought to light in the press they act like it is a rare occurrence, when in reality it happens all the time, both here and in other prisons.

We have a lot of staff burnout here because on a deeper level they know they are committing crimes against humanity. They may not realize it on an everyday level but, deep down, we all know the difference between right and wrong here. We have staff who have quit their jobs because of the prisoner treatment they have witnessed. Others just stay here for the paycheck.

01-29-23

A lady at CCCF was in the methadone program before coming here. Here she was denied any medication because she was given 6 years in prison and the prison did not want to pay for her medication. It is dangerous for someone to detox from methadone cold turkey and the prison forced her to that. There is a new law passed within the last year saying that we are supposed to get the same medical and dental care in here as we got outside the prison. According to this, our prison is breaking the law.

Another lady here has celiac disease, and because the prison is not preparing her meals properly, she is getting red blotches on her skin and that is causing internal inflammation. A kitchen coordinator here chose to punish her for trying to speak up about the preparation of her meals.

Many ladies here are being isolated from families and friends because of a policy where people have to register to be on a call list in order to be allowed to call them. The website for registering them was down for a long time and many of us who are not tech savvy did not know how to register. We want the prison to stop isolating us from our friends and family.

Another lady here has not been paid for work she did here in November. She has been trying to talk to the Inmate Worker Program (IWP) about it, but she says they were really rude to her. We hope she gets paid soon.

The lady here who runs the Cosmetology Program allows Department of Corrections staff to come in for services at half price because they pay in cash. She pockets the money. In one day you can see up to 5 persons at a time doing this.

01-28-23

The sewers are leaking in the bathroom inside the kitchens at CCCF. They make the ladies eat in the break room that is right next to it..

In regards to our recent events with police brutality . . . we have a lot of it going on inside our prisons as well. We have ladies here who have permanent injuries from police brutality.

Several ladies here have been kidnapped. Brought here from extraditable States. One lady was brought here and convicted simply on suspicion. We need this to stop and these ladies need to be set free. We are not commodities to be brought here for money.

01-18-23

A lady at CCCF fell down the stairs. She said it hurt really badly and she cannot put any weight on it. She thinks its broken. They won’t give her a wheelchair or even crutches to get around.

Another lady got 57 disciplinary reports and still gets her good time. Other ladies get one disciplinary report and loose their good time. Favoritism causes a lot of negative emotions in here.

One lady here was offered a deal of manslaughter with 10 years in prison, but she did not take it because why would she take a deal for something she did not do. She had no criminal record and had never even been to jail before. In retaliation for taking the case to trial the court gave her 25 years to life. A man in the same county with an extensive criminal record was only given 10 years for the same crime.

Another lady here was trying to get her drug treatment, but was denied. Instead the court gave her prison time for a drug case. Why do courts want to punish someone with a disease instead of giving them treatment? Something is seriously wrong with the system.

01-05-23

We would like to compare the justice system of today to the opioid crisis of our past, of which there are still large class action lawsuits underway. Doctors were handing out prescriptions like candy to get commissions from big pharma companies without warning patients of the risks of dependency – a mentality we feel is rampant in the current justice system where officials and authorities care more about their paycheck than the lives they are affecting when they over-sentence, wrongfully convict, and falsely arrest. Yet the general public is still in the dark about what is going on, and officers, lawyers, and even judges are given the benefit of the doubt without question. We urge all of you to take a second to look at what is really going on here. Every single civil right we have in here at CCCF has been violated and we want it to stop.

12-28-22

In Oregon we have a lot of manipulation of laws for personal gain of the authorities and officials. One lady at CCCF was given 5 years for unlawful use of a firearm. She had never used the firearm. It was only found on her person. Another lady was given the same charge and there never even was a firearm. We need to start holding officials and authorities accountable for these injustices.

The Segregation Unit at CCCF is full right now – during the holidays! One lady is back in here for extortion and she did not even know what extortion means. Another lady is in seg for assault and she never even touched anyone. Ladies are not given any of their property in seg, including address books, envelopes, writing paper, etc. They are offered a phone call for Christmas, but it they do not know the phone number from memory they cannot make the call. If they do not have money to buy envelopes they cannot even write a letter home for the holidays.

Ladies are put in cells with other ladies that have PTSD reactions, anxiety, and other problems that cause them to freak out. The other lady in the cell when this happens is forced to deal with it, which often means fighting. When ladies are caught fighting they are given at least a month in Segregation. There they are not even allowed to call their families to give them a heads up that they won’t be able to call or write. Ladies caring for small children or relatives that are not in good health need communication to handle responsibilities for their families. We say segregation in prisons needs to be abolished.

12-10-22

One lady at CCCF was sent to segregation (during the holidays) for saying “what” to an officer when she was put into a cell where there was blood on the walls, which is a biohazard. When she complained about it the officer wrote her up for being racist. Many other ladies know this lady and she is nice to everybody. Then the officer responsible for packing her things broke her TV.

Another lady here was sent to segregation for taking a bite of food when she was on a liquid diet. It is obvious that officers abuse the power they have over us whenever they can.

Officers in the segregation unit told a lady she can’t go outside because they know she will have a psychotic break. They say it is part of her “rehabilitation” but we say it is harassment and bullying. They wait until we are vulnerable and then they do things to purposely provoke us. We saw one lady being taken out of her cell with 7 officers there, one in full body armor. He wrestled her to the ground and then put her in a George Floyd type of hold and then threatened her with applied pressure. We say this aggressive and predatory policing needs to stop.

One man at Oregon State Prison was ordered by a judge not to pay retribution fines. But when he got to prison they started to take it from him anyway. We say leave our bank accounts alone and stop stealing from us.

12-08-22

We are all excited about the passing of bill 112. Now they can’t force injured and sick prisoners to work. Also, no more slave wages of $11 a day. We are also excited to have Tina Kotek as our new governor. She had mentioned wanting the release of 60% of ladies at CCCF. We say it’s about time they did something about all the wrongful convictions, false arrests, and over-sentencing that goes on in the state of Oregon.

The segregation unit at CCCF continues to be an inhumane place for “punishment”. Aren’t they being punished enough already by being separated from their families on the holidays? In here, ladies are subject to the officer’s moods on whether or not they get a shower, eat, or even get toilet paper or clean their cell. Officers have been known to give ladies extra food and privileges that have beat up other ladies in the prison. We say it’s time to do away with segregation in prisons, just as President Biden promised on his campaign for presidency. Please write to him with your letters of support at:

The White House
Office of the President

There is a general disregard for prisoners property, not only at CCCF but also at the men’s prisons as well. We have reports of people’s TVs being broken during cell searches. Why is there a need to be so violent. One man at a men’s prison had them refuse a tort claim after his TV was broken by an officer. We have a lady at CCCF that is getting her TV fixed without a tort claim. The bottom line is they need to start being more respectful of our property. One lady who got arrested in Washington State had her vehicle taken away from her without a warrant. She wrote to them about replacing it and they never responded.

We can’t confirm from here, but we heard that Oregon Bill 112 has been passed, which will hopefully do away with slave labor wages in prisons. When we are only making a dollar a day a $190 TV seems like a fortune. But when an officer breaks it during a cell search it definitely seems like unnecessary violence and disregard for our property. We think there should be more accountability.

10-28-22

Many of us here have not been able to talk to our friends and family on the phones because they are trying to register the phone numbers of all the people we call. This entails putting a credit card on file and a valid ID that matches the phone number. These are requirements that not all of our friends and family can meet since some of them are children and others are elderly and not very tech savvy. They are, thankfully, giving u two more months to sort things out and we are just praying that we can get them registered.

10-24-22

Another lady here fell off the ladder getting down from her bed. We also had the power go out today. They made us go into our dark cells. They also sent all the kitchen workers home. Not a good sign …. There is no ventilation in the cells and they are refusing to give us our medications.

10-19-22

They have no respect at CCCF for our personal property. An officer took $30 worth of canteen from a lady. She was called in for 72 hours for asking another lady to help her carry the items.

The officers here said ladies were causing a riot on Sunday. It was only a few ladies refusing to cell in because they had not been getting much time out of their cells. We saw them all lined up against the wall yesterday saying there would be a shakedown.

10-08-22

Another lady here has been falsely convicted and the State is not investigating 2 other similar crimes that might be connected and prove her innocence. It has been 5 months since those other crimes were committed and she has been at CCCF for a year. The perpetrators were out on bail for other attempted murders and both had extensive criminal records. She had no criminal history was not even offered bail even though her parents had terminal illnesses and she was responsible for taking care of them.

10-07-22

During his Presidential Campaign President Biden said he would do away with segregation (isolation) in prisons. At CCCF we had a lady commit suicide during isolation because the COs were stacking disciplinary reports on her. There is a non-profit organization called A Little Piece of Light that is dedicated to doing away with segregation in prisons. Those who have been there report psychotic breakdowns even though they are very mentally healthy otherwise. We have a lady in here who has been in segregation for months upon months and we don’t know her present condition. Punishing people like that won’t work because they cannot help the way they are. Putting her in segregation for long periods of time won’t make her better, but it may make her worse.

10-02-22

Two ladies here got punished because the people in the cell before them taped a razor blade under the toilet. We are constantly subjected to negative reinforcement and we are tired of it.

09-20-22

Bill 112 proclaims that forced labor in prisons is slave labor. We want slavery abolished in the United States and we want the Justice System and the Oregon DOC to stop preying on the weak and less fortunate.
