We have a lot to be grateful for here at CCCF but we still have some issues we need to work through. Some staff are still not practicing progressive discipline. It is our hope that one day they might all have an attitude to help us and not punish us. Things have really improved in this regard but we still have some work to do.

Also, some staff here still do not respect our property. When Amanda Scott passed away, one officer went through her personal belongings. That is something that should be left to her family,

Forcing us to do manual labor here is exploitation. Some of us have school and outside work we are doing. Forcing those ladies to menial, mind-numbing jobs is not justified. We know there is a law requiring us to work, but working for CCCF should not be mandatory.

CCCF had a monopoly on canteen prices and they raise them regularly. Most other prisons allow people to send us packages, but not this facility. When you are making a dollar a day here it really makes a big dent in our paycheck when they decide to raise the price of coffee or envelopes. Many of our friends and family have asked about sending us things we need to buy here. Outside support is something we are really grateful for and we think this should be allowed here. We realize prisons are a business but is it right to exploit u as much as they do?
